WILDLIFE CONTROL
SERVICES PROVIDED
Advanced Wildlife Control offers complete humane solutions to protect you property from nuisance wildlife. Not just trapping, but damage repairs, exclusion barriers, biohazard cleanup, and more.
|
Estimates and Inspections |
Most services requested of Advanced Wildlife Control require an inspection and estimate. When you first call our friendly and professional staff we will go right to work on your situation. Once we learn what your wildlife concerns are we will explain our process and an appointment is made to have one of our qualified technicians come out and visually inspect the property. Once the technician has listened to your concerns and looked everything over a full report will be written out and a quote will be given at the same time (commercial work and certain specialty estimates my require more time).
Most of our prevention work comes with a
one-year extendable warranty and all written
estimates are firm.

Bat Exclusion &
Prevention |
The most effective way to remove bats from a building is through the process of exclusion, which means that we locate any openings bats are currently using to gain access into the building and install one-way doors on those openings, enabling the bats to leave the building, but not return. Upon installation of one-way door, technicians will identify and seal all possible re-entry points (the bats may look for another way in and only need an opening about the size of a dime). Most of the time, one-way doors are left on for one 1-2 weeks, although (unless hibernating in winter months) bats should be gone within 24-48 hours. When technicians return, they remove the one-way doors and seal the opening or openings. Bat exclusion & prevention work comes with a one-year extendable warranty.

Squirrel and Flying
Squirrel Exclusion &
Prevention |
Set traps for grey squirrel, red squirrel, flying squirrel and chipmunk in appropriate areas to be determined by technician. When possible or appropriate, install one-way doors on entry points (exclusion) to prevent squirrels from re-entry. Some jobs need trapping-only, others exclusion only, and some may need a combination of services.

Animal Trapping -
Several Methods for
Removal of Unwanted
Wildlife |
|
Animal Trapping is usually done for skunks, woodchucks, opossum, rats, raccoons, and porcupine. Customers pay a service fee for technicians to inspect the area and/or set traps as appropriate. Customers are then charged a fee for each animal trapped. Customers are responsible for checking traps each morning and calling the office to report trapped animals. Technicians will then remove trapped animals and then reset/re-bait or remove traps, as necessary.
In some cases where animals may be inside a building or enclosed area, a one-way door may be installed in addition to the trapping, for an additional fee. There is no guarantee that animals will be caught or that new animals will not become a nuisance later.
If target animals return within 2 weeks from technician's last call, Advanced Wildlife Control will reset traps at no charge (although there will be a charge for any animals trapped).
Trapping "programs" are usually set-up for chipmunks, moles/voles and mice. The customer is charged a "weekly" fee, which includes 1-3 visits by the technicians to check traps, remove trapped animals and reset or remove traps as appropriate. Additional weeks can usually be purchased, as needed, at a lower cost than the initial week.
Trapping Programs are usually a form of population control and are not "guaranteed" to permanently rid of targeted animals.
Prices and methods vary depending on the situation and wildlife/rodents involved. Please call for more information.

Installation of Netting

We strongly recommend chimney caps for all of out customers. Chimney caps are a good investment for any home, weather you use your fireplace or not. Chimney caps can protect your chimney from weather and elements, as well as keep unwanted animals from nesting in your chimney, falling into your fireplace, orfinding their way into your basement. Chimney cap prices are based on size, please call the office to schedule an estimate. (There is a service call fee to give estimates on chimney caps, however if you choose to have Advanced Wildlife Control install your cap, the fee is applied to the price of the estimate).
